About The Role
We are looking for a Digital PR Executive to join us on a full-time basis to support the growth of our annual insurance verticals, including products such as car, home, travel, pet, and life insurance. In this role, you will support the wider outreach team with the creation of creative link-building campaigns to aid our organic search performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Campaign support and generation: generate ideas for online resources and content that is specifically targeted to individual, and relevant publications and websites.
- Creation of outreach materials: write outreach pitches and press releases, tailored to target audiences.
- Prospecting: create tailored, detailed prospect lists with relevant targets for each outreach campaign created.
- Outreach promotion: pitch outreach materials to the relevant prospect lists to secure high-quality links, focusing on delivering specific activity to high authority websites.
- Collaboration: collaborate effectively with internal teams across RVU, such as content writers, designers, SEO, PR, and the wider outreach team to ensure campaigns fall into wider teams’ KPIs and business goals.
- Reporting: autonomously complete internal outreach tracking sheets to monitor and report on the performance of campaigns.
- Learning & Development: work with your manager to learn marketing practices, tools, and platforms, following continually evolving SEO and outreach landscapes. Apply learnings to improve individual processes and share with the wider team(s) where necessary.
What We’re Looking For
- Digital Interest: a keen interest in the digital environment of SEO, AI, and a desire to learn and upskill where necessary.
- Foundational Knowledge: basic knowledge of specific marketing tools, platforms, or search engine best practices (e.g., Google search principles). Understanding of link building impact within wider SEO strategy.
- Communication Skills: strong written and verbal communication skills to create best-in-practice outreach materials and support teammates proactively.
- Analytical Basics: basic understanding of data and the ability to focus on task accuracy when reviewing campaign results.
- Growth Mindset: an openness to feedback and a willingness to ask questions to develop your skills.
- Creativity: ability to follow creative guidance and contribute fresh ideas to campaign executions.
