About The Role
The People team at RVU is tasked with helping our employees to thrive. We aim to ensure each employee fulfils their personal and professional goals while contributing to the ongoing success of the wider business. The People team is closely aligned with the wider business and expected to play an integral part in the delivery of our company objectives. As we continue to place an ever greater focus on high performance and employee development, we’re looking for someone with excellent generalist HR skills to partner with key stakeholders and manage our people processes. The position will report into our Head of HR and will have a primary focus on employee relations; however, as a true generalist you will need to be versatile and happy assisting with all elements of HR as needed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Advise, educate and coach managers on a range of employee relations issues
- Act as the HR point of contact for our Uswitch.com team, supporting day-to-day operational queries
- Manage and consult on all other ER policies and procedures, including disciplinary and grievance, absence and capability measures
- Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships throughout the business to partner teams from a HR perspective
- Make connections between people and the business strategy to create success and allow our culture to thrive
What We’re Looking For
In no particular order, you’ll have had experience:
- Dealing with a range of ER issues in a fast moving business.
- Experience working in a Tech / Digital business would be beneficial but not essential.
- Communicating with confidence across diverse teams, from recent graduates to senior business leaders.
- Delivering proactive business partnering, supporting people managers in creating a high-performance culture; you’ll need to be credible and confident with strong influencing skills
- Dealing with change and a desire to be part of a rapidly evolving environment, where priorities and focus pivot frequently.
- Supporting the development of more junior members of the HR team
- CIPD qualified is essential
- Planning, leading and supporting in both local and global operational initiatives and strategic projects
