This is a senior, hands-on networking opportunity where you’ll own enterprise infrastructure end-to-end — from initial design through implementation and into steady-state operations. Working closely with infrastructure and business stakeholders, you’ll deliver complex network solutions while ensuring they are scalable, secure, and fully embedded into ongoing support. You’ll operate as a true Subject Matter Expert and technical escalation point, leading troubleshooting, optimizing performance, and driving continuous improvement across the network estate.
Responsibilities
- Own the full network lifecycle — from design through to operations, not just delivery
- Step into a true SME role with visibility and influence across infrastructure decisions
- Work hands-on with modern Cisco technologies, including SD-WAN transformation
- Drive real impact by building internal capability and reducing vendor reliance
- Gain exposure to enterprise-scale, multi-site environments and cross-functional initiatives
Qualifications
- 8+ years’ experience in enterprise IT infrastructure or networking roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco technologies (Firepower, ISE, SD-WAN – Viptela/Catalyst)
- Deep knowledge of network infrastructure (routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing)
- Expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) across multi-site environments
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and transitioning solutions into production
- Strong troubleshooting skills, including root cause analysis and incident resolution
- Experience maintaining infrastructure health (patching, upgrades, configurations)
- Experience in SaaS or cloud-based environments
- Exposure to virtualized infrastructure (e.g., VMware)
- Familiarity with enterprise storage platforms (e.g., NetApp)
- Experience with scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Ansible)
- Cisco certifications (CCNP or CCIE)
