At Confluence, we’ve always been driven by a commitment to innovation, precision, and partnership in the investment data space. Our global footprint now spans multiple countries, giving our employees the opportunity to get exposure to other countries and cultures.
We are hiring an Account Director to manage and grow a portfolio of high value asset management clients in the UK. This is a commercially focused role, owning senior client relationships while actively identifying and delivering revenue growth across an established client base. You will work with large, complex organisations, engaging stakeholders at COO and global leadership level, and partnering closely with internal teams to deliver solutions across multiple products.
This role suits someone who enjoys navigating complexity, spots opportunity within existing relationships and is motivated by driving meaningful commercial outcomes. This is not a maintenance role. You will inherit significant, well known clients and be trusted to shape how those accounts grow over time. You will work with senior decision makers, sell across a broad product suite and play a direct role in maximising revenue from some of the firm’s most important client relationships.
For someone who enjoys ownership, visibility and genuine commercial responsibility, this is a chance to make a real impact. You will take ownership of a portfolio of high value, established clients and play a hands on role in how those relationships develop over time. The focus is on deepening existing partnerships, identifying opportunities across products and driving meaningful revenue growth within complex organisations. This is a role for someone who enjoys commercial responsibility, senior level engagement and shaping long term client outcomes rather than maintaining the status quo.
What skills and experience do I need to succeed?
- Experience within asset management or financial technology, ideally linked to regulatory, analytics, performance or reporting solutions
- Proven track record managing and growing large, complex client accounts with senior stakeholder exposure
- Clear commercial capability with evidence of upsell, cross sell and revenue growth within existing accounts
- A balanced background across account management and sales, rather than purely relationship or new business roles
- Confidence handling complex client conversations and progressing deals through to close
- Strong understanding of how large asset managers operate and make buying decisions
- Typically five or more years of relevant experience, with depth and quality of experience valued over tenure
What do we offer?
- Generous Time Off packages including additional half days with each public holiday in your location.
- Global Career Development opportunities
- Social Events
- Referral Bonus scheme - Up to $3,000 per successful referral
- Plus many more!
We offer flexible working options for all employees. The team is based in St Paul's in London, with consistent office working.
Values
- Integrity: Face reality with honesty, courage and accountability
- Imagination: Deal creatively with challenges and envision what the world could be
- Discipline: Build good habits into reflexes which become a part of our life
- Service: Committed to the success of others
