Sales Consultant – B2B Technology Business.
Location: Remote (London and South East preferred)
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 basic salary plus uncapped commission / open to those on higher base salaries depending on experience levels.
Configured Recruitment is working on behalf of a growing B2B technology company that provides innovative solutions to a range of organisations from FTSE100 clients to SME’s. Due to continued expansion our client is looking to appoint an ambitious and commercially driven Sales Consultant to join their team.
This is a remote-based role and while applications are welcome from across the UK candidates based in London and the South East are preferred due to the location of key clients and business development opportunities.
The role would suit a sales professional with 3-5 years' experience although candidates with more extensive experience will also be considered.
We are particularly interested in speaking with individuals who have either:
- Experience recruiting HR professionals or
- Experience selling employee benefits HR systems or HR-related services to HR professionals
The Role
This is a business development focused role where you will be responsible for generating new opportunities, developing client relationships and driving revenue growth. You will engage with decision-makers, understand business challenges and position solutions that deliver value to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across target markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing business
- Conduct client meetings presentations and product demonstrations
- Understand client requirements and provide consultative solutions
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM records
- Collaborate with internal teams to support successful client outcomes
About You
- 3-5 years' experience in a sales or business development role although candidates with more experience will also be considered
- Experience recruiting HR professionals or selling employee benefit services, HR systems or HR services to HR professionals
- Proven track record of generating new business and achieving sales targets
- Strong communication negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
- Organised with excellent planning and time management skills
