Configured Recruitment is working on behalf of a high-growth technology company based in Fleet to recruit a Group Health & Safety Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding technology business with an international presence. The successful candidate will take ownership of Health & Safety across the organisation, helping to develop robust systems, ensure regulatory compliance and drive continuous improvement as the business grows.

The Role:

  • You will be responsible for leading the organisation’s Health & Safety strategy and management system, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation across the territories in which the business operates.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing a scalable Health & Safety Management System
  • Maintaining compliance with Health & Safety legislation and ISO 45001
  • Planning and conducting internal audits, inspections and risk assessments
  • Supporting Health & Safety due diligence as part of acquisitions
  • Leading incident and near-miss investigations
  • Delivering Health & Safety training, advice and guidance
  • Managing emergency procedures, including first aid and fire safety
  • Working with internal stakeholders and external partners across multiple territories
  • Supporting continuous improvement in Health & Safety standards
  • Travelling to Group entities, including internationally, when required

We are looking for an experienced Health & Safety professional with:

  • NEBOSH Diploma
  • IOSH membership
  • Minimum 3 years' Health & Safety experience
  • Proven experience implementing and maintaining ISO 45001
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and compliance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • A collaborative and proactive approach
  • The ability to influence and engage effectively at all levels
  • Willingness to travel internationally when required
