Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager to lead, coach and develop a high-performing outbound sales team.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to shape and lead a team of ambitious SDRs responsible for generating qualified sales opportunities across both existing and prospective customers.
You'll play a key role in developing the outbound sales strategy, building a high-performance culture and working closely with Sales and Marketing to drive pipeline growth.
We're looking for a hands‑on leader who enjoys coaching people, improving processes and delivering measurable commercial results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team of SDRs through regular 1:1s, live call reviews and ongoing performance coaching.
- Recruit, onboard and support new team members, ensuring they quickly become productive and confident.
- Build a motivated, accountable and customer‑focused sales culture.
- Develop and continuously improve outbound sales playbooks, messaging, prospecting sequences and lead qualification processes.
- Drive outbound prospecting activity to generate high‑quality pipeline across target accounts.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer challenges, products and the competitive landscape.
- Engage with decision‑makers at all levels including C‑suite executives using a consultative, solution‑led sales approach.
- Work closely with Marketing to maximise campaign performance and convert inbound leads into qualified opportunities.
- Monitor team performance through Salesforce and sales engagement platforms, using data and insight to optimise results.
- Accurately forecast pipeline and report on team KPIs including activity, conversion rates and pipeline contribution.
- Share best practice across the team and champion continuous improvement.
- Consistently support the achievement of team sales targets and business growth objectives.
About You
You’ll be an experienced sales leader with a passion for developing people and creating high‑performing outbound teams.
You’ll bring
- At least five years’ experience within Saa S, software or technology sales.
- Previous experience leading, coaching and developing SDR or BDR teams.
- A strong track record of exceeding sales targets and driving pipeline growth.
- Experience selling using a consultative or solution‑based sales methodology.
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and C‑suite decision‑makers.
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship‑building skills.
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Familiarity with sales engagement tools such as Hub Spot, Outreach, Sales Loft or Linked In Sales Navigator.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and make informed decisions.
- Experience implementing or improving qualification frameworks such as BANT or MEDDIC.
- A proactive, resilient and commercially driven mindset.
Experience within the Built Environment / Con Tech sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
