An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Principal Registered Building Inspector to join a very well-run and well-staffed Local Authority Building Control team in the East Midlands on a long-term rolling contract.
This role would suit a highly experienced RBI looking to take on a senior position within a supportive and well-managed environment, acting as the “right-hand” to the Building Control Manager. The successful candidate will join a team with an excellent reputation and strong leadership already in place, offering a genuinely positive working environment alongside long-term contract stability.
The Role: You will support the Building Control Manager across a broad range of Building Control duties whilst also assisting with leadership and oversight responsibilities within the wider team. The role offers a strong level of autonomy and would suit someone comfortable operating in a senior technical capacity.
- £70–£75 per hour
- 6 Month+ rolling contract with strong potential to run long term
- Mostly remote working arrangement
- Only 1 day per week required on-site
