An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Class 3 Registered Building Inspector to join a Local Authority Building Control team in Greater Manchester on a flexible part-time contract basis.
This role would suit a highly experienced Class 3 RBI seeking a contract that offers genuine flexibility and autonomy. The successful candidate will oversee a portfolio of approximately 4β5 Higher-Risk Building (HRB) projects, managing their own diary and workload whilst ensuring projects progress in line with Building Regulations and Building Safety Act requirements.
The Role: You will take ownership of a small portfolio of Higher-Risk Building projects, providing expert Building Control support throughout the lifecycle of each scheme. The authority is looking for an experienced professional who can work independently, manage priorities effectively, and provide technical guidance on complex HRB developments.
The position offers significant flexibility, allowing the successful candidate to manage projects and organise their schedule in a way that best suits both themselves and the authority's requirements.
