We’re working with a Building Control provider in Hertfordshire to recruit a Registered Building Inspector with a minimum of Class 2A registration. This flexible contract opportunity is ideal for RBIs seeking a domestic-focused caseload, with the option to take on commercial inspections if you're more experienced. Whether you're newly Class 2A or a seasoned inspector, you'll be supported by a professional team and have access to varied and ongoing work in a well-organised region.

Requirements:

  • Registered Building Inspector (Class 2A or higher) – Class 2B, 2C, or 2F welcome
  • Previous experience in Building Control, either public or private sector
  • Working knowledge of UK Building Regulations
  • Strong communication, organisational, and technical reporting skills
  • Ability to manage your own workload effectively and work independently
