This is a central role responsible for ensuring all projects, records, and workflows are accurately managed, compliant, and audit-ready at all times. You’ll act as the operational hub of the business – supporting technical teams and leadership by maintaining structure, tracking progress, and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks. As a growing and ambitious business, you will be joining their journey at an early stage, with opportunity to make your mark, having key influence in operational development and overall processes/systems. As the business grows, your role will too, with genuine progression, training investment and the opportunity to become part of the Senior Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain CRM/project systems across all live projects
  • Coordinate project setup, documentation, and record keeping
  • Track workflows, deadlines, and regulatory process milestones
  • Support inspection scheduling and activity coordination
  • Ensure all records and documentation are compliant and audit-ready
  • Produce reports and highlight risks, delays, or missing information
  • Provide operational and administrative support to senior leadership

About You:

  • Experience in operations, administration, or compliance-focused roles
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident using CRM systems, data, and operational software
  • Able to identify gaps, chase actions, and maintain accountability
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Comfortable working in structured, process-driven environments
  • Ability to work under a hybrid arrangement, with at least 2 days/wk out of the Plymouth based Office. Experience in building control, construction, or regulated industries is advantageous but not essential.

Why Apply?

  • Key role within a growing business
  • Opportunity to shape systems, processes, and operational delivery
  • Clear progression and exposure to a specialist sector – become a leading figure within the business as they grow
  • Competitive salary + bonus + strong wider benefits
  • Hybrid, flexible work schedule

This role would suit somebody who enjoys organisation, operational control, process management and maintaining high standards. The successful candidate is likely to be somebody who is calm under pressure, methodical, proactive, and comfortable operating with a regulated business environment where compliance is key.
