We are newly working on a permanent opportunity for an experienced Registered Building Inspector (Building Control Project Manager) to join a well-established and highly supportive Building Control team, covering the South East of England. This role would suit someone based on the south side of London or within Kent, Essex, Surrey or Sussex, looking for autonomy, technical variety and progression without micromanagement.
The Role
As a Building Control Project Manager / Registered Building Inspector, you will be regarded as the technical specialist within the regional team, supporting other Inspectors on more complex or challenging sites, while managing your own workload and diary. This employer has an excellent supervision / training structure and a proven track record of supporting Class 1 Inspectors through to Class 2 registration. We can therefore confirm this is an opportunity open to L1’s who are eager to achieve Class 2B+ under the business’s support.
About You
- Class 1 Registered Building Inspector’s considered, Class 2B RBI’s (or higher) preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of Building Regulations in residential developments
- Extensive experience in a Building Control environment / as a Registered Building Inspector
- Confident supporting others on technical queries and challenging sites
- Able to manage your own diary with no micromanagement
- Full UK driving licence
