A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Building Inspector to lead a well established Building Control team across Yorkshire. This is an opportunity to join one of the industry’s most respected employers, recognised for its outstanding staff retention, supportive culture and long term investment in its people. The existing team is collaborative, highly experienced and benefits from a genuinely manageable workload, allowing inspectors to focus on delivering a high quality service rather than simply hitting targets.

The business is led by approachable, supportive directors who place significant emphasis on ensuring every member of the team feels valued. Alongside a strong basic salary, employees benefit from one of the most competitive reward packages in the sector, including:

  • Excellent annual bonus scheme
  • Generous annual leave entitlement
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity pay
  • Long term sick pay
  • Private healthcare
  • A comprehensive benefits package with a range of additional employee perks

The ideal candidate will be a Class 2F Registered Building Inspector or above, although applications from Registered Building Inspectors of all classifications are welcomed. Whilst previous Building Control management experience would be advantageous, it is by no means essential. The organisation is equally keen to hear from ambitious RBIs looking to take the next step into leadership, with the support and development needed to make that transition a success.

If you’re looking for an opportunity to join a business where people genuinely enjoy working, and where leadership is built around support rather than micromanagement, we’d be pleased to have a confidential conversation.
