The Opportunity: We are supporting a growing and forward-thinking organisation in the Building Safety space, looking to appoint an experienced Building Regulations Principal Designer (BRPD) to play a key role in delivering compliance across a diverse project portfolio. With the introduction of the Building Safety Act, the BRPD role has become a critical function within the industry placing greater accountability on design-stage compliance and fundamentally changing how projects are planned, coordinated, and delivered. As a result, experienced BRPDs are now central to ensuring projects meet regulatory requirements from the outset, reducing risk and driving higher standards across the built environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the forefront of this evolving landscape, influencing projects from an early design stage through to completion.
The Role: As a BRPD, you will take ownership of the Building Regulations compliance process during the design phase, working closely with clients, architects, and wider design teams to ensure all duty holder responsibilities are met. You will be instrumental in embedding compliance into project design, advising stakeholders, and ensuring robust processes are followed throughout.
