Morson Edge are currently looking to recruit an Electrical Production Engineer to work for one of our Aerospace/Defence clients based on the Wiltshire/Dorset border.
This is a contract position for 6 months initially with the potential to go permanent.

Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day technical support to manufacturing and assembly operations.
Develop and improve manufacturing processes for aerospace mechanical components and assemblies.
Create and maintain manufacturing instructions, process sheets, routings and bills of materials.
Support NPIfrom design through to production.
Conduct manufacturing feasibility and producibility assessments.
Investigate production problems using structured root-cause analysis techniques.
Implement corrective and preventative actions to eliminate recurring manufacturing issues.
Support non-conformance investigations and disposition activities.
Work with Design Engineering to resolve drawing, tolerance and manufacturability issues.
Develop and optimise mechanical assembly processes.
Implement lean manufacturing and continuous-improvement initiatives.
Ensure production processes comply with company procedures and applicable aerospace standards.
Maintain accurate engineering and manufacturing documentation.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
Experience in a electrical manufacturing or production engineering environment.
Good understanding of electrical manufacturing and assembly processes.
Experience providing technical support directly to production. xrnqpay
