Salary: £45,000 £55,000 DOE
Hours: Average 40 hours per week
Pay: Salary paid weekly
The Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Generator Engineer to join a growing team covering customer sites across the Midlands.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the service, maintenance and installation of generators and control systems , as well as diagnosing and resolving both mechanical and electrical faults.
Key Responsibilities Service, maintain and install generators and control systems at customer premises
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
Fault-find on generator control panels and switchgear
Carry out portable proof load bank testing
Upgrade and modify existing generator control systems
Work safely and professionally while representing the company on customer sites
Requirements Time-served Generator Engineer
Electrically biased with strong mechanical knowledge
18th Edition qualification
Strong fault-finding ability on generator control panels and switchgear
Competent in portable proof load bank testing
Familiarity with Deep Sea Electronics (DSE) controllers and the ability to upgrade existing control systems
UPS knowledge preferred but not essential
Full UK driving licence xrnqpay
CSCS or ECS Card
