A well-established Thames Valley law firm is looking for a Residential Property Paralegal to join its busy Wokingham team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous residential property experience as a Legal Assistant or Conveyancing Assistant who is now looking to develop their career further within conveyancing.
The Role
Supporting experienced residential property solicitors across a varied caseload, you will gain hands-on experience throughout the conveyancing process, including:
- Opening and progressing residential property files
- Preparing contract packs and completion documentation
- Drafting Certificates of Title
- Carrying out searches and submitting SDLT returns
- Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications
- Dealing with Land Registry requisitions
- Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and solicitors
About You
- Previous residential property experience as a Legal Assistant or Conveyancing Assistant is essential
- Ideally educated to degree level, preferably with a Law degree
- Good understanding of the residential conveyancing process
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Keen to develop a career within residential property
