Dramatize is a friendly, community-based day care and supported employment service for adults with learning disabilities. We support young adults to build confidence, independence, and real-life skills in a lively, supportive environment.
We're looking for a Support Worker who enjoys working with people, being part of a team, and making a genuine difference.
What the role involves:
- Support students to express their needs, choices, and goals
- Encourage independence, confidence, and life skills
- Take part in fun, engaging, and meaningful daily activities
- Be a positive role model and build respectful, supportive relationships
- Provide personal care where required, maintaining dignity and choice
- Administer medication safely (training provided)
- Work closely with colleagues and professionals as part of a supportive team
No two days are the same but you'll always know when you're finishing work.
What we're looking for:
- Kind, patient, and reliable
- Genuine interest in supporting adults with learning disabilities
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Able to follow care plans and record information clearly
- Right to work in the UK (we cannot offer sponsorship)
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience in care, SEN, education, or support work
- Experience providing personal care
- Driving licence (manual or automatic)
