Could you be the person who helps someone take their next step towards a more independent future? As a Community Support Worker at Amplius, youll work alongside customers experiencing homelessness, helping them build confidence, develop life skills and move towards a stable, independent life.
With a variety ofdifferent contract typesavailable, you can find a role that works for you - whether youre looking for full-time hours, part-time work or something more flexible.
Contracts available:
Permanent, full-time
6-month fixed term contract, full time
Permanent, part-time (18.5 hours per week)
Relief / reserve
Salary:
£28,040.46 per year (pro rata for part-time)
£13.45 per hour for relief role
Hours:
Full-time roles are 37 hours per week Monday to Sunday, between 8am and 10pm on a rolling rota.
Hours for part-time and relief roles will vary depending on the contract.
Location: Wisbech HRS, Cambridgeshire.
The relief roles may be based at either Wisbech or at schemes in Peterborough.

Snapshot of your role
Provide person-centred, housing-related support to help customers build confidence and independence.
Work as a key worker, developing and reviewing support plans and risk assessments with customers.
Help customers manage their tenancy, including rent, utilities, repairs and maintaining their home.
Build positive relationships and encourage wellbeing, social inclusion and community involvement.
Work with partner agencies to coordinate effective support and help customers achieve their goals.
Keep accurate records, reports and support plans, monitoring progress and outcomes.
Promote safeguarding, health and safety and equality, while managing risks appropriately.
What were looking for
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above, alongside good IT skills.
Experience providing person-centred support in housing, homelessness or a similar setting.
An understanding of safeguarding, wellbeing and the challenges faced by people with different support needs.
Strong communication and listening skills, with the ability to build positive, non-judgemental relationships.
Good organisation and administration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Important Enhanced DBS clearance, full UK drivers licence, access to your own vehicle, and right to work in the UK are essential requirements. We do not provide sponsorship.
