We are seeking an experienced Deputy Outreach Manager to help lead high-quality services supporting young people facing homelessness in North Tyneside.
Position: Deputy Outreach Manager
Salary: Β£32,606 per annum
Location: North Tyneside
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

About the role
We are looking for a confident and proactive Deputy Outreach Manager to help lead services supporting young people experiencing homelessness and other complex challenges.
Working alongside the service manager, you will support the day-to-day delivery of safe, effective and person-centred services, providing leadership to frontline teams and helping young people move towards safe and independent futures.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting and supervising staff to deliver high-quality services
Ensuring effective safeguarding, risk assessment and support planning
Maintaining high standards of support for young people both in accommodation and within the community
Supporting effective housing management
Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained
Managing local project budgets
Building strong relationships with commissioners, stakeholders and delivery partners
Working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure the smooth running of services
Supporting service quality, compliance and continuous improvement
About you
You will have management or supervisory experience and a background in services supporting young people or others facing complex challenges.
You will understand safeguarding and risk management and have experience of making sound decisions in complex situations. Experience of risk assessments and support planning is also essential.
You will be a confident and collaborative leader, able to support and motivate colleagues while maintaining clear professional boundaries and consistently high standards.
Experience of Ofsted compliance would be advantageous, but is not essential.
Above all, you will share a commitment to equality, dignity and helping young people achieve positive and lasting change.
