Location: Exeter, Weston or Tolvaddon
Salary: Β£33,163 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Temporary, ASAP to February 2027 / 6-month FTC
Working Pattern: Hybrid working available, with 23 days per week in the office depending on business needs

The Role

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Service Improvement Advocate to join a well-established organisation on a temporary basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced customer service professional with a strong background in complaints handling, investigation and service improvement .

You will play an important role in supporting customers, resolving complex issues and using feedback to identify opportunities to improve services and processes across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities Manage customer feedback, including complaints and compliments, in a professional and empathetic manner.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to investigate complaints, review evidence and achieve satisfactory resolutions.

Identify root causes of complaints and support improvements to services and processes.

Provide tailored support to proactively reduce complaints and improve customer satisfaction.

Promote and support compliance with organisational complaints policies and relevant regulatory standards.

Review customer feedback and contribute to actionable improvement plans.

Support a positive, high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement.

Assist with reporting, performance monitoring and management where required.

About YouThe successful candidate will have experience working within a customer service environment , with proven experience of managing and resolving customer complaints.

You will be resilient, empathetic and solution-focused, with the ability to deal confidently with complex or high-stakes issues while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.

Essential Requirements Proven experience of managing customer service complaints.

Experience working within a customer service environment.

A Customer Service qualification, equivalent experience through work or study, or willingness to work towards one.

Strong communication, investigation and problem-solving skills.

The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different areas of a business.

Desirable Experience Experience producing reports and knowledge of performance monitoring and management.

Knowledge of social housing policy.

Experience scheduling activities, events or deliveries.

Experience using booking systems or similar software.

A relevant Business Administration qualification or equivalent experience.

What's on Offer? Β£33,163 per annum

Full-time, 37-hour working week

Monday to Friday
