Salary: £50,000 per annum
Location: Hertfordshire

Working Hours: Monday Friday, 8am 5pm
Job Summary
A major FM provider is looking for an experienced Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team, covering a portfolio of commercial sites across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
The role will involve carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a varied commercial portfolio, with a strong focus on keeping building services safe, compliant and operational.
The ideal candidate will have a strong building services background, with solid experience working within commercial environments and the relevant Commercial Gas qualifications/tickets. You will also be confident working independently, managing your own workload and dealing professionally with clients and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across commercial sites.
- Diagnose and repair commercial gas and heating systems.
- Complete servicing, inspections and safety checks in line with regulations.
- Respond to breakdowns and attend emergency callouts when required.
- Maintain and repair wider building services and plant.
- Complete all job sheets, reports and compliance records accurately.
- Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and site teams.
- Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with H&S procedures.
Requirements
- Commercial Gas qualifications/tickets
- Strong commercial building services experience
- Experience with planned and reactive maintenance
- Good understanding of health & safety and compliance
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to cover Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire
- Right to work in the UK
