This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Truck Driver, Multi-Drop Driver or Home Delivery Driver .

- Industry-related Training and Ongoing Support Throughout Your Assignment Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Safely operating and driving Class 2 vehicles to customer delivery locations
- Delivering kitchen and bedroom products to customers' homes alongside a Driver's Mate
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects
- Maintaining accurate delivery records and paperwork
- Adhering to all road traffic legislation and transport regulations
- Communicating effectively with dispatch teams, customers and site staff
- Providing excellent customer service throughout every delivery
- Please note that some handball duties are required Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:
- A valid UK Category C Driving Licence
- A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than six penalty points for minor offences and no IN, DR, DD or CD endorsements
- A reliable, professional and punctual attitude
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A good understanding of road safety and transport compliance
- The ability to work effectively with a Driver's Mate to complete multi-drop deliveries Desirable
Experience
- Previous commercial driving experience would be advantageous
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience would be beneficial
- Experience handling large or bulky goods would be desirable
- Previous customer-facing delivery experience would be advantageous Training Provided
- Full industry-related training provided
- Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment
