This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Truck Driver, Multi-Drop Driver or Home Delivery Driver .

  • Industry-related Training and Ongoing Support Throughout Your Assignment Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include but not be limited to:
  • Safely operating and driving Class 2 vehicles to customer delivery locations
  • Delivering kitchen and bedroom products to customers' homes alongside a Driver's Mate
  • Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects
  • Maintaining accurate delivery records and paperwork
  • Adhering to all road traffic legislation and transport regulations
  • Communicating effectively with dispatch teams, customers and site staff
  • Providing excellent customer service throughout every delivery
  • Please note that some handball duties are required Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:
  • A valid UK Category C Driving Licence
  • A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
  • A valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than six penalty points for minor offences and no IN, DR, DD or CD endorsements
  • A reliable, professional and punctual attitude
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • A good understanding of road safety and transport compliance
  • The ability to work effectively with a Driver's Mate to complete multi-drop deliveries Desirable

Experience

  • Previous commercial driving experience would be advantageous
  • Previous multi-drop delivery experience would be beneficial
  • Experience handling large or bulky goods would be desirable
  • Previous customer-facing delivery experience would be advantageous Training Provided
  • Full industry-related training provided
  • Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment
