Our well-known client, one of the UK's leading vehicle logistics companies, is looking to recruit HGV Class 1 Car Transporter Tramper Drivers across multiple locations.

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per year + £25 per night tax-free night out allowance + meal allowance (Weekly pay on a Thursday)

Locations Available: Southampton (Interview at Southampton)

No Car Transporter Experience? No Problem! If you hold a valid HGV Class 1 (CE) licence and have an excellent driving record, this is your chance to break into the specialist world of car transportation. Full paid training is provided by one of the UK's leading Car Transporter Training Academies.

The Role:

  • Permanent, full-time position
  • 4 on / 4 off tramping shifts
  • Monday-Friday tramping available on request
  • Nationwide vehicle deliveries
  • Transport up to 12 vehicles on modern car transporters
  • Load and unload cars and vans
  • Complete vehicle inspections before loading
  • Deliver to dealerships, auctions, businesses and events across the UK
  • Represent a market-leading logistics company professionally

Training

  • No Car Transporter Experience: Up to 4 weeks of fully paid specialist training
  • Existing Car Transporter Drivers: Up to 2 weeks of refresher and company-specific training

Requirements

  • HGV Class 1 (CE) Licence
  • Valid Driver CPC
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points
  • Professional attitude and excellent customer service skills
  • Car transporter experience is preferred but not essential.
  • 6+ months is needed
  • Drivers with previous Class 1 tramping experience are encouraged to apply.
