Birchwell Associates is recruiting for an experienced Solar Electrician to join a growing renewable energy contractor delivering Solar PV and battery storage projects across Devon and the surrounding areas.

This is a hands-on position suited to a qualified electrician with strong installation, testing and fault-finding experience who is looking to build or continue a career within the renewable energy sector.
The Role You will be responsible for electrical works across Solar PV and battery storage installations, working across a mixture of domestic and commercial projects.
Responsibilities will include: Installing and commissioning Solar PV systems Battery storage installation Inverter installation and connection AC electrical works associated with renewable energy systems Testing, inspection and certification Fault finding and remedial works Consumer unit and electrical upgrades where required Working from electrical drawings and specifications Ensuring installations comply with BS 7671 and relevant industry standards Completing work to a high standard while maintaining excellent health and safety practices Liaising with customers, site teams and project management What We're Looking For Candidates should have: 18th Edition City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing Relevant Level 3 electrical qualification / apprenticeship Strong electrical installation experience Experience with Solar PV installations Good testing and fault-finding ability Full UK driving licence Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience with battery storage, inverters and renewable energy systems would be highly advantageous.
