We are seeking a dedicated, caring and passionate KS1 and KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a number of schools across the Stafford/Rugeley/Cannock area. This role is offered on a temporary, part-time supply basis which provides you with the opportunity to work in a range of schools supporting in the role of SEN Teaching Assistant.
The successful candidate will be available to work part-time, and will play an important role in supporting young learners during the early stages of their education. You will be working through a well-established and reputable supply agency. Your duties as a Teaching Assistant will vary on a day-to-day basis; you will be expected to assist the class teacher in the delivery of lessons, support pupils with different learning needs and also providing small-group interventions when necessary. You may be supporting children with SEN needs; this can sometimes be on a 1:1 basis, creating useful resources and working closely alongside the class teacher in order to create a child specific plan.
The Role Includes:
Working for a reputable education agency - Academics.
Working collaboratively alongside staff and parents, with the child's best interests at heart.
The ability to provide individual and small group support where required to provide interventions for children.
Confidence in supporting pupils with SEN needs - this may be on a more 1:1 basis where required.
We are looking for someone who:
Must have experience supporting a primary class.
Obtains a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate (desired).
Is a committed teaching assistant who feels confident in supporting children.
The ability to support SEN pupils when needed within the classroom; this may be through 1:1 or small group work.
Enhanced DBS.
Available to start ASAP.
Able to commute to Stafford/Rugeley/Cannock and surrounding areas on a daily basis.
Fully registered to work with Academics.
Pay: Β£93 - Β£110 per day, depending on experience and assignment. Holiday pay is included in the daily rate.
