A government client is recruiting for a to help lead the way they plan, deliver and embed change across the organisation. You'll work closely with senior leaders, project teams and business areas to make sure change happens smoothly, people are supported, and the benefits are realised.

Day to day duties:
- Lead on the change management elements of the business case.
- Lead the creation of the required Business Change products for the project.
- Lead on engagement with senior stakeholders both internally and externally and other Business Change Managers across the portfolio.
- Establish and maintain the change plan for the project and provides input into the overall Project Plan.
- Lead the creation and management of the business readiness criteria across the project. Lead in the 'approve/refuse' go-live decision with the Project Manager, business and end users.
- Work in partnership with the Benefits Manager and stakeholders to plan benefits realisation as part of all Business Change activities.
- Identify, classify, and update stakeholder engagement plan. Lead stakeholder engagement on project to ensure it meets Business Change requirements. Point of contact for senior stakeholders.
- Lead on communications planning and content creation, liaising with Internal Comms team or support specialist Project Comms Managers if appointed.
- Provide direction and guidance to team, and support development of others. Lead Business Change activities across the project.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll need strong people skills, confidence talking to senior leaders, and the ability to juggle several pieces of work at once. You should be comfortable with uncertainty, good at building relationships across different teams, and driven by wanting to see real, lasting results.
The client is looking for someone with solid experience running change management in a complex organisation, ideally within a transformation programme or project. xrnqpay A relevant change management qualification (such as APMG, Prosci, or similar) is a bonus but not essential.
