A successful accountancy practice, with an excellent reputation, is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join its friendly and collaborative team in Taunton. Responsibilities
- - Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- - Supporting the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns
- - Preparing VAT returns and completing bookkeeping assignments
- - Building positive relationships with clients and responding to day-to-day queries
- - Working with cloud accounting software including Xero, QuickBooks and Sage
- - Working closely with senior colleagues to deliver a high standard of client service
Candidate Requirements
- Already have experience working within an accountancy practice and be keen to continue developing their technical knowledge.
- You’ll ideally be AAT qualified or studying towards a professional qualification, although candidates with strong practical experience will also be considered. Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a positive attitude will all be important in this role.
