Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our specialist team in Tadworth. At Unicare Complex Care Specialist Ltd, we provide bespoke, high-quality care to clients with complex clinical needs in their own homes.
You will be supporting a client who requires assistance with complex manual handling needs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity at all times.
Shift Pattern & Paid Hours
To ensure consistent hours for our team, we have combined the required daily care calls into two solid paid shifts. We are looking for candidates who can commit to the following daily schedule:
Shift

Duration
Monday to Friday
3:30 pm - 7:30 pm (4 Hours)
Saturday and Sunday
8:30 am - 7:30 pm (11 Hours)
Key Responsibilities
- Manual Handling: Safely moving and handling the client using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Personal Care: Providing comprehensive personal care while respecting the client's dignity and independence.
- PEG Feeding
- Medication Administration
What We Are Looking For:
- Driving Requirement: You must be a driver with access to a reliable vehicle, as navigating to the location requires personal transport.
- Previous experience working as an HCA in a complex care or intensive care environment.
- Desirable experience with tracheostomy care and ventilation is highly desirable (clinical support and guidance is provided by our nursing leadership).
- Strong competency in safe manual handling practices.
- A reliable, punctual professional who lives within a commutable distance of the KT20 postcode.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach.
