Academics are recruiting a SEN Specialist Alternative Provision Teacher in the Stroud area to start as soon as possible! We are looking for an SEN Specialist Teacher (QTS) who is passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs. You will provide high quality, personalised teaching in a nurturing and inclusive environment, adapting your approach to meet the individual needs of each learner.
Role Details:
- Location: Stroud, Gloucestershire
- Salary: £105 - £185 per day (DOE)
- Hours: Monday - Friday (8:00am - 3:30pm)
- Start: ASAP
- Contract: Term Time only
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating a safe and encouraging environment to help learners thrive.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for SEN learners.
- Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet learners' needs.
- Support with monitoring achievements and helping learners feel supported to reach their full potential.
- Ensuring safeguarding policies are followed at all times.
- Set appropriate learning goals and targets.
- Promote independence, confidence, communication and social development.
