Junior Data Administrator
Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: 25,000 - 28,000
Working Pattern: Fully Office Based
We're working with a growing ecommerce and retail business that's looking for a Junior Data Administrator to join its Data & Analytics function.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the beginning of their data career who wants to gain hands‑on commercial experience while working directly with an experienced Head of Data.
You'll play an important role in ensuring the business has accurate and reliable data, with a particular focus on stock, orders and operational information.
The Role
You'll be responsible for:
- Managing and maintaining stock and order data
- Checking data quality and investigating discrepancies
- Producing and maintaining regular reports
- Working with Excel and internal business systems
- Ensuring information is accurate and up to date
- Supporting teams across the business with data queries
- Working directly with the Head of Data on wider reporting and data projects
- Helping improve existing data processes as the business continues to grow
What We're Looking For
We're not looking for years of commercial experience. This could suit a recent graduate or someone with some initial experience in Data, Administration, Reporting, Ecommerce or a similar position.
You'll ideally have:
- Strong Excel skills
- Good attention to detail
- Confidence working with numbers and large amounts of information
- An analytical mindset and ability to spot inconsistencies
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- An interest in developing a career within Data & Analytics
Experience with ecommerce, stock or order data would be advantageous but isn't essential
