We're recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for guaranteed weekend work. Excellent rates of pay and regular additional shifts available throughout the week if desired. You'll have the flexibility to work around your lifestyle while maximising your earnings.
About the client:
Our client is one of the UK's largest convenience food manufacturers, supplying fresh products to major retailers across the country every single day. With over 3.5 million deliveries made each year, you'll be joining a well-established, professional transport operation that values reliable drivers.
Shift details:
Part-time weekend work (2–3 shifts per week)
Friday, Saturday and Sunday shifts available
PM start times between 7:00pm and 11:00pm
Typical shift lengths of 8–10 hours
Want to earn even more? Additional shifts are regularly available throughout midweek, giving you the flexibility to increase your hours when it suits you.
Pay rates:
£19.95 per hour for hours worked between 6:00am and 10:00pm on Fridays
£21.10 per hour for hours worked between 10:00pm Friday and 6:00am Monday
12.07% holiday pay accrued on top of your hourly rate
What you'll be doing:
Completing nationwide trunking deliveries to RDCs
Driving modern refrigerated trailers
Delivering goods safely, professionally and on time
Using a pallet pump truck where required
Completing occasional collections on return journeys
What we're looking for:
A valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 12 months
Available to work 2–3 weekend shifts each week
Able to commute to Tamworth (B78 1TX)
No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences
Happy to complete a paid driving assessment and induction before starting
