Enterprise Architect – Cybersecurity Data
Sheffield, Birmingham (2-3 days a week)
A senior strategic architecture role defining the enterprise architecture for Cybersecurity's data capabilities, platforms, and governance services. You'll translate Cybersecurity strategy into coherent business, data, and technology architectures and roadmaps — turning security telemetry into trusted, governed, reusable data products and decision-grade insight across the function.
What you'll do:
- Define target-state architectures, capability models, and transition roadmaps for Cybersecurity's data domain
- Set data strategy, architecture, and governance standards for global big data services and shared data products
- Provide architectural authority and assurance across major decisions and investment priorities
- Align Cybersecurity functions, central data/technology teams, platform owners, and delivery programmes
- Identify capability gaps, duplication, and technical debt; build cases for consolidation or investment
- Mentor solution architects and design engineers
What you'll bring:
- Extensive enterprise architecture experience in a large, complex, regulated organisation (business, data, application, technology)
- Proven track record translating strategy into capability models and sequenced roadmaps
- Strong data strategy/architecture/governance experience for enterprise-scale data services
- Deep cybersecurity domain knowledge — risk, controls, regulatory obligations, and how trusted data enables detection and response
- Strong grasp of large-scale data platforms, cloud/on-prem tech, integration, lineage, quality, and access control
- Exceptional communication skills, confident engaging executives, design authorities, and senior technical leaders
