We are working with a highly respected, independent healthcare marketing agency that is on the lookout for a Senior Medical Writer to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a senior-level writing role within a strategically focused, creatively driven agency that punches well above its weight. The agency has a team of around 30 and offers a collaborative, fast-paced environment where you will have real influence on the work being produced. You will be in the office four days per week working shoulder-to-shoulder with strategists, creatives, client services, and fellow medical writers.
The Opportunity
As Senior Medical Writer, you will be a key player in the creation of scientifically sound, strategically aligned, and highly engaging content across a variety of deliverables. You will work on materials for both HCP education and promotional campaigns across a wide range of therapy areas including oncology, neurology, dermatology, and rare diseases. This is an ideal role for a writer who enjoys diversity in their projects and is comfortable switching between scientific depth and creative storytelling.

- Keynote speaker decks and presentation content
- Webinar scripts and interactive webinar content
- Medical education copy for HCP engagement

What They Are Looking For:
- 3-5+ years of experience in medical writing, ideally within an agency environment
- A strong life sciences background (ideally MSc or PhD)
- Proven experience working on multi-format content with a scientific backbone
- Confident communicator, able to liaise with clients and internal stakeholders
- Familiarity with ABPI Code and pharma industry compliance standards
- A team player who is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable owning projects
- Experience across oncology, neurology, dermatology or rare diseases is a plus
