Looking for a role where your engineering decisions actually move from concept to production quickly, not months lost in paperwork, lengthy approval chains, and design-by-committee?
How about doing that work with a respected global brand known for keeping customers powered, supported, and “on”?
What We’re Building
Our specialist engineering and manufacturing teams work at pace - designing, developing, testing and validating mission‑critical electrical solutions that need to perform in the real world. This is hands‑on, high‑impact engineering where you’ll see your ideas turn into products, not sit in a pipeline.
We’re currently hiring Senior, Principal and Lead Electrical Engineers to help shape next‑generation energy technologies. You’ll work across the full life-cycle: concept and architecture, design, prototyping, validation and supporting production.
If you’re motivated by solving tough engineering challenges—and owning the results—this is the kind of team where you can do your best work. Our base is on the outskirts of Dumbarton on Scotland’s west coast —an area surrounded by some of the most remarkable landscapes in the UK:
- A quieter pace of life, minutes from Glasgow when you want city energy
- For engineers & their families who value the outdoors, fresh air, space and an easy commute, it’s a great place to build a life.
We can offer relocation support, and visa sponsorship can be available for the right person, and for those excited by the idea of living in picturesque part of Scotland, and having a direct impact on the engineering solutions for the products.
Not Planning to Relocate?
If the engineering challenge is what excites you but you’re not looking to move permanently:
- The nature of our products means you’ll need meaningful time with the team, the hardware and our workshops, but we are flexible and supportive in figuring out the right rhythm, including potential support for travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architecture, design, development and test of high‑reliability electrical systems
- Collaborating closely with mechanical, manufacturing and embedded teams
- Applying strong engineering fundamentals to real-world problems
- Being part of a culture that values curiosity, diversity, teamwork and practical innovation
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in electrical / electronic engineering
What matters most is your engineering capability, your approach, and your appetite for meaningful work.
