We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this role br Salary: Competitive br What you’ll be doing: br To carry out routine work with limited supervision & have an understanding of safety consequences in a high risk environment br Responsible for leading Test and Commissioning activities of on board electrical systems br Liaise/Interface with relevant stakeholders to ensure activities are undertaken in a safe & compliant manner br Instruct & mentor less experienced members of the team within your knowledge & competency br Ability to research, review & interrogate technical design documentation and drawings and subsequently create test documentation br Keep full and accurate records of work activities carried out as required by policy, procedure and legislation br To represent the company on Contractors Sea Trials and other outworking requirements br Responsible for delivering assigned activities in line with company policy, procedures and legislation br Your skills and experiences: br Knowledge of electrical control and instrumentation of system operations, ideally hydraulic, pressurised air and gas, domestic and chilled water br Experience in commissioning of complex systems power plants, motors and high voltage systems br Write and issue Rip Out documentation to process, identifying correct isolations to safety isolate ship systems br HNC in Electrical Engineering br Knowledge of test equipment & activities required for specific tests br Understanding of the role and how T&C contributes to the wider business and UK enterprise br Knowledge of safety controls & procedures in a high risk environment br Aware of Nuclear Site/Authorisation Conditions br Experience working with Distribution Systems, Fire Protection Systems and Electrical Testing br Knowledge of Instrumentation Systems including; Electrostatic Discharge, Low Voltage Control, Data Communications, PLCs & Fibre Optics br Benefits: br You’ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave incentive and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. You may have the opportunity to travel on factory acceptance tests.
