We are seeking an experienced relationship-focused fundraiser to build church partnerships and inspire Christian audiences to support vulnerable children worldwide.

Salary: £45,563 to £48,375 per annum, depending on experience

Location: Home-based, with regular travel across the South East and wider UK

Hours: Full-time, 36.5 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to grow engagement and income from churches and Christian audiences for an international children's charity. As Senior Church Partnerships Manager, you will develop trusted relationships with church leaders, congregations and individual Christians. Through meetings, events, telephone and online engagement, you will inspire people to support the organisation's mission through giving, advocacy and prayer.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and managing a portfolio of church relationships
  • Developing tailored engagement plans using existing campaigns and resources
  • Generating income through individual giving and wider church partnerships
  • Providing thoughtful and consistent stewardship to supporters
  • Identifying creative opportunities to reach new Christian audiences
  • Delivering compelling presentations and fundraising asks in churches and at events
  • Leading the organisation's presence at Christian events, both online and in person
  • Maintaining accurate supporter, activity and income information within the CRM
  • Contributing to the long-term Church and Christian Engagement Strategy
  • Supporting colleagues to strengthen donor care and church engagement

You will speak in churches on approximately 18 Sundays each year. Regular travel and occasional overnight stays will be required.

About you

You will be an experienced and confident relationship builder with a background in fundraising, sales, business development or supporter engagement. Comfortable working towards stretching targets, you will combine strategic thinking with practical delivery.

You will bring:

  • Experience of developing relationships that generate income or engagement
  • Strong presentation and public-speaking skills
  • Confidence in making clear and compelling fundraising asks
  • Excellent influencing, negotiation and communication skills
  • Experience of managing a varied portfolio of contacts or supporters
  • Strong organisational, data management and CRM skills
  • An authentic understanding of churches and Christian communities
  • The ability to represent a Christian identity with integrity and conviction
  • A full UK driving licence and the existing right to work in the UK are essential. Sponsorship is not available.
