Senior Accounting Manager

Global software company headquartered in California, USA, with a finance team based in Massachusetts, USA, is seeking a hands-on Senior Manager of Accounting to join our global accounting team. This role involves managing the USA general ledger close process, working on technical accounting, preparing consolidated financials in NetSuite, and overseeing transfer pricing with foreign subsidiaries. We are looking for a CPA with 10-15 years of experience, preferably in an international SaaS technology company with expertise in Revenue Recognition.Responsibilities:Prepare reconciliations for monthly and yearly General Ledger closePrepare monthly global consolidated financials with support from the Corporate Controller and foreign subsidiariesAssist in preparing financial reporting packages and corporate income tax returnsConduct technical accounting research and support implementation effortsAssist with software implementation (NetSuite or other systems) and potential acquisition accounting as the company growsSupport other ad hoc projects as directed by the CFO and Corporate ControllerSkills and Qualifications:Bachelor\’s degree in Accounting or Finance10-15 years of accounting experience, ideally in a SaaS environmentKnowledge of US GAAP accounting and taxation (payroll, sales tax, multi-state income taxes)Advanced Excel skills and experience closing month-end periods in accounting softwareHands-on experience with a proactive attitude and strong communication skillsSeniority Level Mid-Senior levelEmployment Type Full-timeJob Function Accounting, Auditing, and FinanceIndustries Software Development and Accounting
