Description
- Maintain accurate customer account information and update records as required.
- Review outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.
- Contact customers by phone and email to discuss payment status and resolve queries.
- Record customer conversations, payment promises and account updates clearly.
- Allocate payments to the correct customer accounts to keep balances accurate.
- Investigate account queries and work with relevant colleagues to resolve them.
- Prepare clear information on outstanding balances for the Accounting & Finance team.
- Help maintain an orderly credit control process throughout the temporary contract.
Profile
- Experience of credit control and following up outstanding customer balances.
- Confidence communicating with customers by phone and email.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and update account information.
- Experience resolving payment and account queries.
- Good attention to detail when allocating payments and checking balances.
- Ability to manage tasks in an organised way during a temporary assignment.
