This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in sales administration, order processing or commercial support who enjoys working with figures, coordinating with different departments and ensuring processes run smoothly and accurately.

The Role

As Sales Order Administrator, you will be responsible for managing customer quotations and sales orders throughout their lifecycle, ensuring information is accurate, deadlines are met and all relevant procedures are followed.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing customer enquiries and preparing accurate quotations.
  • Coordinating with internal departments to gather information, obtain approvals and resolve queries.
  • Creating and maintaining sales orders, ensuring all pricing, payment terms and supporting documentation are correct.
  • Reviewing order information, identifying discrepancies and escalating potential issues where necessary.
  • Processing order amendments, cancellations, additional charges and other adjustments.
  • Coordinating invoicing activities, payment requests, credit notes and order completion.
  • Investigating customer queries and resolving invoicing discrepancies promptly.
  • Monitoring outstanding orders, invoicing deadlines and missing information.
  • Maintaining accurate records and supporting improvements to administrative and commercial processes.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 1-3 years' experience in sales administration, sales order processing, quotation management or a similar administrative role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different teams.
  • Good commercial awareness and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach and the ability to work independently.

Experience using SAP or another ERP system would be advantageous, as would exposure to invoicing, contract administration or order-to-cash processes.

A qualification in Business Administration, Commercial Administration or a related subject is desirable, although relevant practical experience will also be considered.

What's on Offer?

This role offers the opportunity to develop your commercial administration experience, gain exposure to the full order management process and work collaboratively across different departments.
