Accounts Payable Clerk in Ringwood

As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you'll play a key role in the smooth running of the finance team. Your day-to-day will involve managing invoices, processing payments, and supporting the wider team with financial administration.

Our client is based in Ringwood, and due to a busy period and various ongoing projects, the finance team is looking for additional support.

Description

• Process supplier invoices and ensure they are accurately recorded.
• Handle payment runs and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records.
• Support month-end processes, including preparing reports.
• Communicate with suppliers to address queries and issues.
• Assist the finance team with ad-hoc administrative tasks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Profile

• Experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
• A proactive approach to resolving queries and managing deadlines.

Job Offer

• Permanent position.
• Salary between £28,000 and £30,000, dependent on the level of experience.
