Experienced Administrator - Full Time

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a school in Richmond upon Thames for a full-time Administrator.

This opportunity would suit an organised and professional individual with administrative experience who is confident communicating with a range of stakeholders, including staff, students, parents and external contacts.

The Role

The successful candidate will provide administrative and customer service support within a busy school environment.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

  • - Managing day-to-day administrative duties efficiently and accurately
  • - Responding to enquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • - Providing high-quality customer service to parents, students, staff and visitors
  • - Answering telephone calls and responding to emails
  • - Maintaining accurate records and updating school systems
  • - Preparing documents, correspondence and reports
  • - Organising information and maintaining filing systems
  • - Supporting staff with general administrative requirements
  • - Handling a range of queries and directing them appropriately
  • - Maintaining confidentiality and following school procedures
  • - Providing a professional and welcoming front-of-house service when required

Person Specification

We welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate:

  • - Previous experience in an administrative role
  • - Customer service experience
  • - Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • - Good organisational and time-management skills
  • - Attention to detail and accuracy
  • - A professional and approachable manner
  • - The ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • - Confidence using Microsoft Office and administrative systems
  • - The ability to work independently and as part of a team

The following experience would be beneficial but is not essential:

  • - Experience working in a school, education, public sector or similar professional environment
  • - Experience using SIMS and/or Arbor

Working Hours

  • - Full-time
