Description
Athona is recruiting Registered Paediatric Nurses to support one of our private clients with complex care requirements. This is a flexible opportunity offering a variety of shifts across the UK, including days, nights and weekends.
Shifts may be offered at short notice or on an ad hoc basis, making this an ideal opportunity for nurses who can work flexibly and travel to different locations. You will support different paediatric patients, each with individual care plans and specific clinical needs.
Accommodation will be provided when travelling to shifts, and mileage will be paid at £0.45 per mile.
Job Role
- Provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care to paediatric patients with complex care needs.
- Follow individual patient care plans and ensure care is delivered safely and effectively.
- Adapt to supporting different patients and their varying clinical requirements.
- Work a range of shifts, including days, nights and weekends.
- Respond flexibly to ad hoc shifts, which may be offered at short notice.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and communicate effectively with relevant individuals involved in each patient’s care.
Essential for the role
- Registered Paediatric Nurse (RN) with current NMC registration.
- Experience in paediatric nursing.
- Ability to follow individualised patient care plans.
- Flexible availability to cover days, nights and weekends.
- Willingness and ability to travel to various locations across the UK.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different patients’ needs.
Desirable experience:
- Previous experience working in a similar role, supporting paediatric patients with complex care needs.
