Junior Finance Assistant (Temporary Ongoing Contract)

Working Pattern: 4 Days Per Week on site - 1 Day Working From Home

The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Junior Finance Assistant to join a friendly and growing finance team based in Redditch. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous finance administration experience who is looking to further develop their skills within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
- Assisting with the Accounts Payable function, including statement reconciliations and supplier queries
- Supporting Credit Control activities, chasing outstanding payments and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Allocating cash receipts and updating customer accounts
- Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
- Assisting with month-end finance processes
- Providing general administrative support to the finance team
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience within a finance or accounts environment
- Practical experience of both Accounts Payable and Credit Control
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Good communication skills and confidence speaking with customers and suppliers
- Competent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
