Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) – HMP Millsike, York Salary: £29,970 – £36,483 per annum (AFC Band 5) Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week) & Part-time (18-20 hours per week) We re seeking a qualified and accredited Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join our integrated primary care mental health team at HMP Millsike. As a PWP, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, low-intensity cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) interventions to clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression, aligning with Step 2 IAPT guidelines. Conduct person-centred assessments, manage referrals, and support individuals in their self-management and recovery journeys. Deliver guided self-help in both 1:1 and group settings, drawing from CBT principles. Ensure accurate data entry and maintain high standards in clinical record-keeping and confidentiality. Qualifications: Completed the IAPT Low Intensity National Programme and hold a PWP accreditation (BPS or BABCP). Demonstrated experience providing low-intensity, evidence-based interventions in a stepped-care environment. proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and databases.
