We are working with a busy and respected building consultancy that is looking to appoint a Freelance Building Surveyor to support ongoing projects across Milton Keynes and London. This position is well suited to an experienced surveyor seeking consistent freelance work with autonomy and a varied workload.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Local Authority Housing Disrepair assessments
- Expert Witness reporting
- Party Wall matters
- Defect diagnosis
- Investigative surveys
- Schedules of Works
- Contract Administration
Contract details:
- Projects across Milton Keynes and London
- 6 month contract, with possibility of ongoing work
- Immediate start available
- Day rate: £250 - £350 (open to higher rates for the right candidate)
- IR35: Outside IR35
The successful candidate will have:
- MRICS or MCIOB is desired, but not essential
- At least 5+ years experience in a Building Surveying position
- Must be able to work with little, or no supervision
