Are you an experienced administrator who enjoys keeping projects organised, working with different people and making sure the details don't get missed? Golders Green, NW11 £28,000 £32,000 per annum Monday Friday, office based Due to an internal promotion, our client is looking for a Project Administrator to join their team in Golders Green. You'll provide day-to-day administrative support across a range of projects, working closely with the Operations Administrator, Managing Director and members of the management team. This is a varied role involving project documentation, quotations, purchase orders, invoices, procurement, spreadsheets, suppliers and general project coordination, so you'll need to be highly organised, comfortable juggling competing priorities and confident using Excel. Please note, this is a fully office-based position in Golders Green, NW11, five days a week. You must be able to commute to the office each working day.

What you'll be doing

As Project Administrator, you'll help keep projects and day-to-day operations organised and moving forward.

  • Preparing quotations, invoices, purchase orders and other documentation for clients and suppliers
  • Creating, updating and maintaining project spreadsheets and accurate records
  • Liaising with colleagues, clients, suppliers and other external parties
  • Supporting procurement activities, including researching suppliers and placing orders
  • Arranging orders and hire for plant, materials and access equipment
  • Coordinating training requirements, work permits and parking permits for the team
  • Monitoring information and documentation to ensure deadlines and project requirements are met
  • Supporting the management team with correspondence, meetings, diaries and other project-related administration
  • Managing general administration including inboxes, telephone calls, filing and record keeping
  • Helping resolve day-to-day administrative and project issues using your own initiative

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone with previous administration experience gained within a busy project, operations, construction or similar commercial environment. You'll need

  • Strong administrative and organisational experience, with the ability to manage several priorities at once
  • Confidence preparing and working with quotations, purchase orders, invoices and other business documentation
  • Strong Excel skills, including the ability to create and work with spreadsheet formulas
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Outlook and Teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence communicating with clients, suppliers, colleagues and other stakeholders
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work
  • The ability to solve problems, use your initiative and follow tasks through to completion
  • A proactive, enthusiastic approach and the confidence to work in a busy environment

About the hours and rewards

This is a permanent, full-time position, subject to a three-month trial period. You'll work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8.00am to 4.30pm, with one hour for lunch.

  • £28,000 £32,000 per annum, depending on experience
