More about your role
As our IT Asset Management Lead, you will take ownership of the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets across the organisation.
You'lllead the ITAM function, ensuring assets and devices areprocured, tracked, issued, refreshed, and disposed of efficiently and securely. Working closely with Service Desk, Field Support, Procurement, Finance, and technical teams,you'llmake sure the right assets are available at the right time to support colleagues.
You'llbe responsible formaintainingaccurateand reliable asset data, ensuring strong governance, andprovidingclear insight into asset performance, costs, and risks.
You'llalso play a key role in supporting audits, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives, helping to simplify processes and strengthen operational control.
This role is based on site5 days a week in Preston.

Essential criteria
Proven experience leading or managing an IT Asset Management function
Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and licencelifecycle management
Experience using IT service management (ITSM) and asset management tools
Demonstrable experience managing asset data accuracy, governance, and reporting
Experience supporting audit, compliance, or supplier management activities
