Job Overview We are looking for a PPM/Trainee Engineer with a mechanical, electrical or gas engineering background to attend client sites across the country and carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on commercial catering equipment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring equipment is operating correctly, safely and efficiently, while remaining compliant with UK health, safety and environmental legislation.
This is a physically demanding role and may involve:
Working at heights using ladders or other access equipment.
Working outdoors throughout the year.
Travelling extensively across your designated region.
Carrying out hands-on maintenance and servicing of commercial catering equipment.
Key Responsibilities Attend client sites wearing company-branded clothing and represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Carry out servicing and Planned Preventative Maintenance of commercial catering equipment in accordance with agreed specifications.
Ensure all equipment is left in a clean, tidy and secure condition.
Identify and report any equipment defects to the relevant Site Manager and record them via the PDA system.
Report any Health & Safety concerns to the Site Manager and Networks Health & Safety Manager.
Maintain accountability to the Business Manager.
Maintain day-to-day accountability to relevant client contacts.
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
Experience & Requirements Essential Full UK driving licence.
Right to work in the UK.
Practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn.
Comfortable using tools and carrying out physical work.
Willingness to travel 100% across your designated region as part of the role.
Desirable Previous experience working in an engineering or technical environment.
Electrical Installation Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications.
A mechanical, electrical or gas engineering background.

Salary & Working Hours Salary: Competitive salary Standby Allowance: Β£110 Overtime:
