Simply Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Steel Erector on behalf of our client for a major project in Plymouth.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled steel erector looking for an immediate start on a long-term industrial project.
Location: Plymouth
Duration: Approx. 3 Months Potential for extension
Start Date: Immediate Start Available
Shift Pattern: 12 Days On / 2 Days Off
Key Responsibilities
- Erecting and installing structural steelwork safely and accurately.
- Reading and interpreting engineering and fabrication drawings.
- Aligning, positioning and securing steel structures.
- Working closely with site supervisors and lifting teams.
- Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with project specifications and health & safety requirements. xrnqpay
Essential Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card
- Proven experience as a Steel Erector
- Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working on industrial, construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of site health and safety procedures
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable
- IPAF
- PASMA
- Slinger/Signaller qualification
- Working at Height certification
